This policy explains what personal information Rangpur Engineering collects through this website, why, and how long we keep it.

What we collect

Account details: your name, email address, phone number and password (stored only as a secure hash, never in readable form).
Orders: delivery addresses, the products you order, order notes and order history.
Messages: anything you send us through the contact form, product questions, reviews or blog comments.
Newsletter: your email address, if you subscribe.
Browsing: the pages you visit, your IP address and your browser type, used to understand how the site is used.

A session cookie and a secure sign-in cookie keep you logged in. They cannot be read by scripts on the page.
A visitor cookie (valid for one year) lets us count visits without identifying you by name.
If you are not signed in, your cart is saved in your browser so it is still there when you come back.

To confirm, deliver and support your orders, including calling you about them.
To answer your messages and questions.
To send the newsletter, only if you subscribed. Every newsletter contains an unsubscribe link.
To keep the site secure and improve it.

We do not sell your personal information. We share delivery details only with the courier that delivers your order.

Detailed page-view records are deleted after 90 days; only daily totals are kept.
Account and order records are kept while your account is active and as required for accounting and warranty purposes.

You can update your details from your account at any time. To have your account deleted, or to ask what information we hold about you, contact us.
